Join us Thursday, November 28 from 3–8 PM as we welcome the most wonderful time of the year! Spend the afternoon shopping small and supporting local with our downtown businesses and a festive holiday market along Third Street. Discover unique gifts, seasonal treats, and all the holiday cheer that makes Smithfield shine.

As the sun sets, the magic begins! Gather downtown for our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring live music, cheerful carolers, and a special Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army. And don’t miss the highlight of the night — Santa’s grand arrival on the big red firetruck!

It’s a night full of community, celebration, and Christmas spirit — the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in Downtown Smithfield!
