Downtown Smithfield is especially magical in December, when the storefronts are beautifully decorated for Christmas and the Town decks the halls for the season! The DSDC hosts Christmas Carriage Rides to give people a chance to enjoy the twinkling lights around our festive downtown!

Christmas Carriage Rides will be offered on Friday December 5th (5:30-8:30PM), 12th (5:30-8:30PM), 14th (5-8PM), 19th (5:30-8:30PM) and the 21st (5-8PM).

 

Advance tickets may be purchased for each date.  When you arrive, please check in with the carriages at your scheduled time.  Carriages will be loading next to 134 S 3rd Street next to the courthouse.

The carriages can typically accommodate groups of 4-6, depending on the carriage and the size of the riders. Carriage rides typically last about ten minutes.

Have dinner downtown before or after your carriage ride at one of our fantastic restaurants! Do some shopping! Take in a movie or visit some of our wonderful attractions!
